Following the Exmouth Town Festival of 2003 I got in touch with a local artist, Mike Fowler, and asked him if he could possibly make a model of the 'famous' Exmouth minibus '20'.
After checking photographs and several sketches this is what he came up with. The model is accurate and is in fact a copy of the Devon General 20 A260 MTA Ford Transit Carlyle bodied 12 seaters that were used in Exmouth.
I tried to purchase this one (being the oldest in the fleet [apart from 'Little Willy'] only to be asked for £1000 by Stagecoach on the take over. I did not have the cash then (or now for that matter) and have just donated (at the artist's request) £25 to the RNLI Exmouth.
